Next T8 Hash will start at Tuen Mun Town Park. This is next to Tuen Mun Station (junction of West Rail and Light Rail) and opposite Tuen Mun Town Centre, which has a bus terminal. Map attached.
Most people will find it most convenient to take West Rail (access from Kowloon, Kam Tin, Yuen Long). Take Exit B at Tuen Mun West Rail, go past the Light Rail platform and follow markings to the park. Start is at a large gazebo near the lake. Bus services to Tuen Mun, if they are running, are detailed her: http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/parks/tmp/en/access.php - but please note this page is from 2004. You might want to check with the bus companies beforehand. Note you can get to Kam Sheung Road West Rail Station from Tai Po on the 64K bus. Hares are Golden Balls and Billy Jizz. If the T8 signal goes up before 8am the run is at noon. If the T8 signal goes up before noon the run is at 4pm. If the T8 signal goes up after noon, no run. Small chance of a run on Sunday. The thing forming off the Philippines is still only classed as a tropical depression, and the Observatory is predicting cloudy with squally showers and max wind speed force 6 for Sunday. |
